Lord of the Rings Online : November Update Rune-keeper Changes

The big news for the Lotro fans:  the official Lotro site has been updated with a new developer diary by Brian 'Zombie Columbus' Aloisio. The diary of Lotro goes into great detail about why the team of Lotro chose to look at and overhaul the Rune-keeper class. Aloisio and team of Lotro wanted to enhance underused skills, nerfed a few 'overpowered' skills, and to make pathways to power more interesting and varied.

Some details of Lotro: Rune-keepers and Rune-keeper enthusiasts, to Lotro November update! The Lotro developer have a lot of things planned. The Lotro: Rune-keeper currently sits at top tier in both damage and healing output. Because of this, the goals of the Lotro developer have set for this update did not focus on increasing or decreasing net effectiveness, but on adding variety, customization and more dynamic skill interaction to achieve these results. In other words, the Lotro developer’s goal was to add more “advanced” into this “advanced” class. To achieve this, the Lotro developer enhanced underused skills, scaled back overly potent skills, and introduced more options into skill rotations.
